Offre de Stage : Digital Media Coordinator – Freeride World Tour

 

FWT is looking for a motivated and pro-active digital media coordinator, whose job will be to assist the digital media manager in her daily tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking to gain experience in multiple parts of the event organization in a rapidly evolving company.

The position consists of :

Social media/community management (60%)
• Scheduling, uploading, publishing, and monitoring social posts across all platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Youtube, Dailymotion, Vimeo,…
• Analyzing data from FWT social tactics and providing insights and comprehensive reports showing results (ROI and growth)
• Identifying new opportunities for the FWT across emerging platforms, products, and content formats; monitoring trends and best practices

Website (20%)
• Updating content on website through CMS
• Sending push notifications

Innovation (5%)
• being aware of the latest trends & technologies and being able to implement them as a pioneer in our field

Content creation (15%)
• creating visuals for our digital platforms: thumbnails, banners, …
• creating ads for digital medias

Personal profile
• Student / Graduate Degree in Communication or Sport Management. A major in digital would be a strong asset
• Various work experiences ideally on an international basis
• Fluent English & French, both spoken and written (German / Spanish also a major asset)
• Passionate about skiing or snowboarding, knows the Freeride World Tour
• Very comfortable working with multimedia (images and video)
• Strong knowledge of digital analysis (in particular of Google Analytics)
• Deep understanding of social media (especially community management)

Requirements
• Very good I.T. skills required, including MS Windows or Mac OS as well as Photoshop
• Experience in Content Management System (Drupal preferred) and HTML basics
• Experience in editing short videos
• Driving license

• Flexible to new and constantly changing situation
• Recognizes and accepts that one does whatever it takes in terms of time and commitment to get the job done well e.g. during FWT events the demands can be 24x 7
• Active sport person, enjoys the great outdoors including winter sports
• Willing to travel extensively, including weekends, during the winter season

Compensation:
• Base salary: CHF 1000.- / month from November to end April
• Free ski wear and equipment (depending on availability)
• Flexible working schedule
• Travel and phone costs covered

November 1st, 2017 until April 30, 2018

Lutry, near Lausanne (Switzerland) or Annecy (France)
