Freeride World Tour (FWT)
The Freeride World Tour was launched in 2008 and is now recognized by riders, the ski industry and the media as the competitive pinnacle of the sport. The fivestop Freeride World Tour is supported by more than 60 Freeride World Qualifier by Tyrolia (FWQ) events and 60 Freeride Junior Tour by HEAD (FJT) events around the world.

To structure and manage, on a global basis, the sport competition aspects of freeride skiing & snowboarding, and to help companies and mountain resorts grow and prosper through organizing and delivering world-class sports events.

Internship – Merchandising & Graphics Coordinator
In this position, we are looking for a trainee whose job will consist in 2 different tasks:
1. Merchandising Activities Coordination
2. Graphics & visual production
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking to gain experience in multiple parts of the event organisation industry in a rapidly evolving company.

1. MERCHANDISING ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR
The position will report directly to the Merchandising Manager. The various tasks will consist in:

Stock Management
Products database and stock management
Selling, delivering and invoicing to shops in Verbier, Chamonix, Fieberbrunn, Andorra, Nendaz
Management of webshop promotional activities and shipment of webshop orders
Pre-event gift packs preparation (for staff, media and guests)
Gift packs distribution
Prospection of new distribution outlets (online / retail)
Benchmark

Sales
Preparation of sales activities at FWT events (quantities, pricing, promotions, selling equipment, etc.…)
Recruitment and management of the sales crew (2–8 people depending on the event)
Merchandising booths (1-3) management at events
Communication plan for merchandising
Sale and communication plan for the student hospitality offers

2. GRAPHICS COORDINATOR
The various tasks will consist in:
Implication in the set up of the new branding strategy
Productions of the visuals (backdrops, web banners, bibs…)
Follow up on production & delivery of all branding items
Event villages 3D plans design
Implication in the partners activation proposals

Skills:
• Student/Graduate Degree in Tourism, Business or Sport Management
• Various work experiences at events, ideally on an international basis
• Proficient computer skills: Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketchup or at ease with computers
• Graphics design skills is an asset
• Fluent English & French (both spoken and written), German an asset

Compensation:
• Base salary: CHF 1000.- /month for a period of 6 months
• Free ski wear and equipment (depending on availability)

Location : Lutry, near Lausanne (Switzerland)
