Profile
The role of the Finance Coordinator is to assist the Finance Manager on a range of tasks (budget control, cash
management, payments and other administrative procedures) in an efficient, competent, discreet and
service-oriented manner.
The role also includes responsibility for monitoring the correct application of finance and purchasing procedures.
Purpose
– Providing support to the Finance Manager in financial analyses;
– Preparing and analysing (on a monthly basis) budget reports for budget holders;
– Preparing intermediate financial reports (generally every month) for relevant stakeholders;
– Participating in budget review meetings with the Finance Manager and the budget holders;
– Liaising with the UEFA Finance Division to ensure appropriate cash management and budget control;
– Liaising with the UEFA Finance Division to ensure financial consistency and establishing a lean system for
updating superiors and other colleagues on financial matters;
– Liaising with the legal team to ensure the correct application of purchasing procedures;
– Managing petty cash implementation, control and cash flow reports;
– Ensuring that general administrative, reporting, knowledge-management and debriefing processes are followed
and executed to the required standard.
Requirements
Experience required:
– from 1 to 3 years in financial management, including at least one year with budget control responsibilities
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent
Languages:
