JOB TITLE: Technical Representative North of France and French Belgium
POSITION SUMMARY
Being a critical member of the marketing team, you will provide unapparelled class leading support to our retailers. As true brand partners, you will be the face of Saucony and will be a regular point of support. There will be a significant responsibility for educating our retailers on product stories along with communicating the many seasonal marketing messages we have. It is essential that our tech rep team have a close relationship with our many Specialty run accounts and Sporting Goods accounts. With a grounding in grass roots events, you will be expected to be present within the running community.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Technical Representative is responsible for:
To support content creation and increase adoption of our product training tool Myagi.
In tandem with Myagi, traditional staff training will be essential.
In conjunction with the Marketing Manager, you will support and deliver the marketing activation.
Working closely with the retailer and sales reps to gather market data such as sell through.
Be the eyes and ears of the brand and communicate our brand positioning, competitors, and potential competitor’s activity.
You will be responsible for all forms of in-store visibility such as merchandising and installing POP.
There will be an expectation to initiate community events and be present amongst the running fraternity through activations such as run groups.
You will be expected to support our showroom merchandising.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will be pivotal in our sports marketing event delivery.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Experience with social media in a professional setting is an advantage.
Able to confidently talk about brand and a creative awareness is essential.
To be an engaging personality with a significant emphasis on the ability to listen.
High energy levels and able to work flexibly, includes weekend work.
Strong “People Skills” with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key retailers and their staff.
Commercially aware.
Working knowledge of products both Saucony styles and of our competitors.
The ability to talk confidently around the biomechanical and technical aspects of performance product.
Excellent communication skills in French and English.
Innovative and solution orientated.
Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
Highly competent when dealing with IT, including Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
A running lifestyle is essential.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Travel expenses paid.
Field based – 80%+ of time on the road
Must be willing to spend time away from home each week.
Must be prepared to work occasional weekends if needed.
